Beverly Hills Farmers' Market
What better way to spend your weekend this Spring than going browsing the fresh products the Earth has blessed us with? The Beverly Hills Farmers' Market, open every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., provides the finest California-grown fresh vegetables, beverages, pastries, specialty products, and more in a vibrant outdoor setting. It also has a petting zoo and musical performances, and organic producers and artisans. Both you and your kids will enjoy the morning spent here!
The Farmers' Market is also a fantastic activity for retirees! It's one of the things making Beverly Hills a great place for seniors - actually, one of the best California cities for retirement.
You can find it on Civic Center Drive, near Third Street and Santa Monica Boulevard. The Civic Center garage offers free 2-hour parking, making it convenient to take your time and look around.
William Wegman Installation
Art-lovers, this is definitely of the things you should not miss in Beverly Hills this Spring. Lisa Baker, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Marc Selwyn Fine Art are proud to show a large-scale, multi-screen video work by globally acclaimed artist William Wegman. The project is done in conjunction with the Arts and Culture Commission of the City of Beverly Hills. The artwork, which will include two pieces, Up Down Up, 2017 and Harmonics, 2019, will cover six shop windows at the old Barneys New York building at 9570 Wilshire Boulevard, the future home of Saks Fifth Avenue's extended Beverly Hills outpost.
The project debuted on February 16 at 6:00 p.m. and will be on display every day from 5:30 p.m. to midnight until March 30, 2022.
2022 LA Beer Festival
April 2, 2022
The 14th annual LA Beer Festival is back! Over 80 brewers, 200 ales, the tastiest food trucks, music and dancing, and so much more will be available during the event. From noon to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the 2022 LA Beer Festival will be held at the LA Center Studios, near Beverly Hills. General admission tickets include unlimited beer sampling, but the food is treated extra. Connoisseur's Tickets ($90) are limited and provide participants with certain perks, such as AC restrooms, access to a special deck over the general space with a selection of exclusive beers, and presents from the festival organizers.
This is, however, an adult-only event; no infants or toddlers will be admitted. Sadly, everyone must be 21 or older, so leave your babies at home and come to have some fun! If you want to join and sip, please make arrangements for a safe way to return home. There are also designated driver tickets - sold at the entrance for a $20 fee.
