Día de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever

The 23rd Annual Día de los Muertos festival returns this Saturday featuring daytime and evening events. Daytime events include a Children’s Plaza- Chocolate making workshop, Face painting, etc-and Art exhibitions, as well as DJ performances, and Culinary Vendors. After that, evening events offer Cultural stages, Costume contest, and Various Vendors. There are a lot of events that I can’t introduce them all, so you may spend the whole day at the festival. Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party 2022

This Saturday, Little Tokyo will hold a block party in a secret place. The location will be shared upon check-in. The event will include a ghoulish maze of Halloween-themed pop-ups, DJs and a costume contest. You can also enjoy drinks and food in Little Tokyo. Reservation is required and close at 9pm on Friday, October 28. Guests must be 21+ and all of them are free for you!

FRANKENSTEIN with Live Orchestra

If you don’t want to be exhausted of walking around, this will be your best choice. The Theatre at Ace Hotel and the LA Opera is collaborating for a mash-up of film and opera. Frankenstein, a 1931 classic film starring Boris Karloff, will play on the big screen with a live accompaniment from the LA Opera Orchestra. The film was originally released without a musical score. On this night, composer Michael Shapiro will enrich the movie by conducting his score with the orchestra. The running time is one hour and 11 minutes.

The 10th Anniversary of Corgi Beach Day is back this Saturday with a Halloween theme! Do you want to have unforgettable time with your dog?
