We’ve told you some of our favorite hikes and lookouts, but sometimes you don’t want to walk. Here are some of our favorite spots for when you are feeling a bit lazy.
Hollywood Bowl Overlook:
Location: 7036 Mulholland Dr, Hollywood Hills
Drive right up to the parking lot where you are above the Hollywood Bowl, overlooking the Downtown skyline and the ocean. Try to pick a clear day and look out for the Hollywood tour vans!
Mount Wilson:
Location: Mt Wilson Rd, Angeles National Forest
This isn’t the closest option, but the views are incredible. You will have to drive about 40 minutes up the Angeles Crest Highway. Drive to the summit or pull off at one of the turnouts for breathtaking views. Rain or shine, this spot is sure to deliver fabulous sights.
Spire 73
Location: 900 Wilshire Blvd. Downtown L.A.
If you want to sip on a drink while taking in spectacular views, head up 73 floors at the InterContinental hotel. With the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere, you definitely will enjoy the views and your drink.
