4 Museums to Visit in Los Angeles

Museums are open and ready for visitors! Spend a couple of hours on the weekend roaming around your favorite exhibit. Take a look at some of our LA museum picks!

Natural History Museum:

With its vast collection of over 35 million objects and specimens, The Natural History Museum is a wonderful place to roam for a couple of hours. The museum is home to some of the largest gems on earth, as well as a 63-foot-long fin whale skeleton.

California Science Center:

If you are looking for a kid friendly spot, head over to the California Science Center. The museum offers a variety of exhibits, all relating to life sciences and human innovation. Be sure to check out the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

La Brea Tar Pits and Museum:

You probably had a couple of school lessons on the Tar Pits. Take a visit to the old-fashioned museum to find amazing fossils and see how much you remember from elementary!

The Broad:

The Broad is one of our favorite L.A. museums with its contemporary and immersive art. Find works from Andy Warhol, Barbara Kruger, and Jeff Koons. Don’t miss the mirror rooms designed by Yayoi Kusama.
