April 25, 2008 – The influx of foreign buyers moving to Los Angeles is the topic of an interview between Valerie and Variety Magazine.
April 7, 2008 – The Los Angeles Business Journal’s prestigious award, “Executive of the Year” is given with honor to Valerie.
March 1, 2008 - www.LosAngelesRealEstateTalk.com is launched! This blog site, hosted by Valerie, is an ongoing conversation about current real estate news and the going-ons in Los Angeles.
February 13 2008 — Valerie and Los Angeles Committee of Foreign Relations members attend Reception & Dinner at the Bel Air Hotel for Canada’s Ambassador Michael Wilson.
January 31 2008 — Valerie speaks on a panel at Coldwell Banker 2008 kick off meeting at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, discussing Strategy and Motivation for Pricing.
January 16, 2008 – Valerie is on the Advisory Board and speaks on the panel at the Luxury Conclave Event in Phoenix.
2007 Highlights
Valerie is awarded the title of #1 agent for Gross Sales in the Beverly Hills North Coldwell Banker office for 2006.
On October 14, Children Uniting Nations announces a successful “Day of the Child”. 2500 children from group homes and foster care facilities enjoyed a day at Pierce College Fair Ground with entertainment from Rapper “DMC”, rides, and games.
August/September 2007 — LACFR board members approve vote Chairman Nicholas Rockefeller and board members offer nominee Valerie Fitzgerald membership to Los Angeles Committee of Foreign Relations.
January 2007 — Valerie signs book deal with Simon & Schuster Valerie Fitzgerald signs book deal in January, 2007 with Simon and Schuster. Working title “Heart and Sold” will be released in spring of 2009.
